The software in question – the company’s SafeMove mobile VPN and Secure Call – is designed to enable the encryption of network traffic, messaging, as well as end-to-end encrypted voice and video calls.
A spokesperson for the company said: “The software suite offers a very high level of security. [It is a] cost-effective solution that integrates seamlessly into [an] organisation’s existing ecosystem, scaling easily to large organisations as well.”
Bittium senior vice president, Tommi Kangas, said: “Our software solutions, designed especially for demanding use, have already enabled secure mobile communication in different organisations.
“With the implementation of the iOS support, organisations using different operating systems and devices will benefit from secure communication. If the software-based security is not sufficient for all the users of an organisation, [it] can be complemented with the ultra-secure smartphones of the Bittium Tough Mobile 2 product family.”
