Motorola Solutions to upgrade Polish Armed Forces' TETRA network

The redesigned TETRA system will provide the army with critical communications in military compounds, navy units, air bases and land forces throughout Poland.

The deployed system will include dozens of base stations connected to a geo-redundant Mobile Switching Office (MSO), thousands of digital radio devices (mobile, portable and ATEX certified), dispatcher positions, training and a five-year warranty.

“The Polish Armed Forces have been a long-time customer of Motorola Solutions in Poland, and we are thrilled by this new opportunity to be working together on another strategic project,“ said Michael Kaae, vice president sales, Nordics, Eastern Europe & Russia at Motorola Solutions. “Building on our decades of experience in deploying nationwide, mission-critical communications systems across Europe and globally, we trust this newly designed system will support the military’s communication needs…”
