Frequentis UK appoints new MD

Frequentis UK has appointed Mike Garrod as its new managing director. Garrod will replace Andy Madge, who is set to retire on July 1st.

Frequentis describes Garrod as having extensive experience in the aerospace and defence sectors, having previously worked as MD of MKC Training. Prior to that, he spent 16 years at QinetiQ. According to a spokesperson, he has held “various leadership roles in engineering, programme management, and business development, working on projects ranging from global navigation systems to electronic warfare.”

The spokesperson continued, discussing Madge’s contribution to the business: “Under Andy’s leadership, the company has experienced remarkable market growth, transforming from a small branch into a key contributor to the international success of the Frequentis Group.”

Company CEO Norbert Haslacher said: “Under Andy’s leadership, Frequentis UK gained prominent contracts including the Metropolitan Police Service, West Yorkshire Fire Service, Maritime and Coastguard Agency and UK Ambulance Radio Programme.

“We wish Andy all the best in his retirement and would like to warmly welcome Mike to continue to lead the company into its next phase of development.”
