TCCA’s next Critical Update webinar will be titled ‘The critical need for spectrum – the key enabler for mission critical broadband.’ The virtual event will take place on April 27th.

Participants will include Luz Fernández del Rosal (vice-chair of TCCA’s Critical Communications Broadband Group) and Noel Kirkaldy (TCCA Spectrum Task Force, and market development for public safety and defense at Nokia).

Discussing the webinar, a spokesperson for TCCA said: “It will present the case for ensuring sufficient spectrum for critical broadband services. It will cover how the availability of spectrum for mission critical users benefits all mission critical networks, irrespective or their deployment models.

“[The webinar] will also cover how spectrum is made available at international and national level by regulatory authorities, and which spectrum opportunities for mission critical users are currently being discussed in the upcoming World Radio Conference [WRC].”

The virtual event will also outline TCCA’s position in relation to spectrum, and advise viewers how to take action on the issue in advance of the WRC, which takes place in the United Arab Emirates at the end of this year.

The webinar will take place on April 27, between 16:00-17:00 CEST. To register, click here.
