Advertorial - ATDI delivers unified command and control communications platform

In today’s critical communications landscape, operations centres face increasing pressure to ensure real-time network availability while maintaining accurate situational awareness and coverage updates.

Fragmented systems, legacy networks, and manual workflows only compound these challenges, slowing operational response when time matters most.

To address this, ATDI presents a comprehensive, integrated solution that combines ICS Portal, a web-based platform delivering real-time coverage updates for critical communications networks, and HTZ Web API, a RESTful interface that connects third-party systems to ATDI’s RF modelling engine.

Together, they offer a flexible, future-ready platform that enables organisations to streamline operations, automate planning tasks, and gain real-time insight, without the burden of complex integration projects.

ICS Portal is a front-end, web-based platform designed for operations centres. It provides real-time visibility into network performance, supporting faster decision-making and enhancing service continuity. With a centralised database and automated workflows, it delivers continuous coverage updates and situational awareness.

Seamlessly integrated with the HTZ Web API, ICS Portal enables live technical analysis and dynamic coverage simulation. Acting as a real-time operational feed, it allows operators to visualise live network coverage across all active sites.

The platform integrates with any network management tool, ensuring that station outages are promptly reflected. This supports efficient identification of service gaps and improved maintenance planning.

Operators can simulate outages or plan maintenance by enabling or disabling specific sites. Filters allow sorting by signal type or region, with a ‘toggle all’ function for bulk actions. Coverage thresholds adjust automatically by frequency and can be customised by user profile, with map views reflecting preset configurations.

With an intuitive user interface, ICS Portal provides operations teams with the real-time insight and control needed to optimise network performance and respond swiftly to disruptions.

The HTZ Web API directly connects systems to ATDI’s powerful RF engine, HTZ, enabling automated network planning, interference checks, and dynamic coverage analysis.

Upon receiving a network status update or detecting infrastructure changes, the backend API automatically performs technical analysis to generate real-time site-by-site, composite, and best-server coverage maps, highlighting gaps, performance impacts, and areas requiring intervention. This reliable, responsive, and scalable service ensures control rooms can visualise and respond to network changes in real time.

This one-stop solution is ideal for both civilian and military operations centres seeking to modernise without disruption. It is scalable, secure, and adaptable to national and cross-agency operations, bringing clarity, control, and agility to mission-critical communications.
