Nedaa demonstrates live LTE video streaming at Intersec

Nedaa has announced that it will be showcasing its range of broadband solutions at Intersec 2018, which is taking place this week at the World Trade Centre in Dubai. Intersec is described by the organisation as "the world's leading fair for security, safety and fire protection."

A spokesperson for the Dubai-based network said: "Nedaa’s participation at this event is an important opportunity to reach out to its target customers by demonstrating the LTE and 5G use cases of its private network capabilities.

"Nedaa - in strong cooperation with Dubai Police - will demonstrate a live video streaming to the command and control center. It will also be demonstrating the use of LTE-connected drones to facilitate efficiency in rescue operations. The product presentations will show how drones can help in real-time road and traffic monitoring, as well as in relation to other use cases."

Mansoor Bu Osaiba, CEO at Nedaa, said: "Nedaa will be leveraging its diverse portfolio of products and solutions, which have been created to address the needs of government organisations and mission-critical sectors. Hosting a pavilion that features our partners will give us the chance to throw the spotlight on our network capabilities and solutions designed for a smart, safe and sustainable city."

Nedaa is the Dubai government's public safety communications network provider. Its strategic partners - who will also be present at the event - include Airbus, Nokia and Esharah Etisalat Security Solutions.
