Hytera celebrates Middle East presence

Hytera marked the tenth anniversary of its subsidiary company in the UAE, illuminating the Burj Khalifa with its logo following the last day of this year’s Critical Communications World. The event also coincided with its regional partner summit, which took place at Dubai’s The Palm Atlantis.

Discussing the company’s presence in the region, a spokesperson said: “Over the past decade, Hytera has taken on a starring role in driving digital transformation across various verticals in the Middle East. Its UAE branch [is a] regional powerhouse, revolutionising public safety communications systems whilst enhancing operations safety and efficiency.”

Hytera vice president and head of Hytera UAE, Stanley Song, said: “The 10th anniversary of our UAE office not only marks a significant milestone but also underscores our enduring commitment to driving innovation and fostering partnerships throughout the region.

“From the very beginning, establishing Hytera operations across the Middle East markets was pursued with an aspirational vision to meet rapidly evolving communications needs across key sectors. The Middle East is a shining example for the world to emulate in terms of embracing digital transformation.”

According to figures quoted by the company, “approximately 50 per cent” of public safety communications devices used in the region are provided by Hytera. Recent projects in the region include the establishment of a training and factory acceptance test centre in Dubai, in 2022.
