Audax wins London security contract

Audax is providing its Bio-AX body worn video cameras to Mitie Security’s street patrol team in London’s Regent Street.

Discussing the solution's functionality, a spokesperson for Audax said: “Bio-AX can be remotely commanded to record and livestream video and audio, as well as reporting current GPS location. This can be done from the control room, whereas previously [this was in control of] the wearer alone.

“Managers now have oversight and situational awareness of their assets on the ground, as well as complete visibility to confirm that compliance and professional standards are met.”

Audax has also provided a camera management solution as part of the project, featuring “a web based visual management and location system, all hosted by the Secure Audax Cloud with Video Storage.”

The company's managing director, Adam Liardet, said: “Our Bio-AX camera has been designed and built with our core customer base at its heart. This camera has some unique features, and we are proud to be market innovators yet again.

"Early adopters such as Mitie have been quick to identify these advances and ensure that their operatives and clients are benefiting from the best technology that a UK manufacturer of body worn video can offer. It is a privilege to provide the end-to-end body worn video solution to protect the wellbeing of the security team at this well respected, historic, and famous location.”
