ICCAs 2019: The winners

The winners of the 2019 International Critical Communications Awards were unveiled during an award ceremony which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia alongside Critical Communications World.

The awards were fiercely contested, with there being two categories in which two entries were tied for first place.

Motorola Solutions and Sepura both won in three categories (Motorola Solutions: Best Use of Mission-Critical Communications During a Major Event, Best New Infrastructure Solution, and TCCA Young Engineer of the Year; Sepura: Best Use of Critical Communications in Transport, Best use of Critical Communications in Other Vertical Markets, and Outstanding Contribution to Critical Communications), while Athonet won in two categories (Best Use of Critical Communications in Utilities and Best use of Critical Communications in Other Vertical Markets).

Technology journalist David McClelland acted as host and emphasised the life-saving nature of critical communications technology.
