Hytera's new TETRA handheld radio: the PT560H

Hytera has introduced a new TETRA handheld radio, the PT560H. The PT560H is a close relative of the PT580H Plus and according to the company, "offers the entire spectrum of TETRA features in an ergonomic and ruggedised housing."

The radio has a a transflective 1.8"color display, which is“extremely easy to read, even in bright sunlight” and large, programmable keys. The device is IP68-rated, meets MIL - STD - 810 C / D / E / F / G requirements and has passed HALTs (Highly Accelerated Life Tests). It can withstand submersion in one metre of water for a duration of up to 30 minutes.

The PT560H can be connected to standard accessories and offers many features such as GPS, end-to-end encryption, pre-recorded channel announcements, lone worker function and a man-down alarm.
