According to the company, the app covers “end-to-end encrypted voice and video calls, group calls, messages with attachments, group messaging, push-to-talk voice messages. [It also includes] a feature that destroys messages after a predefined time.”
The solution is available for the company’s smartphones, as well as Android devices and Windows desktops.
Speaking of the new product, a spokesperson for the company said: “Governmental-level security is achieved when Secure Call is used together with Bittium Tough Mobile smartphones and the Secure Suite.”
Bittium senior vice president, defense and security, Jari Sankala, said: “Many customers have requested that we provide a complete solution for secure communications, and we are answering that. Bittium Tough Mobile also supports other communication applications.
"We will continue to cooperate with the companies that provide these, [giving] customers an opportunity to choose a solution that is most suitable for their needs.”
