Rohill has been awarded by ARC to supply TETRA radio communication systems to the metropolitan municipality of Osasco in São Paulo State, Brazil.

ARC is a Brazilian traffic engineering and system integrator company, which has developed a new public safety technology service platform called PROJETO SEG SIIM (Sistema Integrado de Inteligência para Municípios – Intelligent & Integrated System for Municipalities). This service platform provides an integrated solution for five services: CCTV, radio communication, traffic control, telemetry and electronic border control.

Rohill’s TetraNode solution will be integrated into the main platform to provide critical communications, GPS and dispatch services and will be usedby the city’s public safety organisations.

Solange Almeida, business development director for Rohill, comments: “We are pleased that ARC is convinced about Rohill’s TetraNode solution for its mission-critical communication needs. We are proud to strengthen our position in Brazil and we are convinced that we will contribute to a successful implementation as part of this innovative project of ARC.”

ARC has more than 25 years’ experience in deploying, operating and maintaining traffic control systems, urban signalling and monitoring control centres for municipalities.
